Instalation procedure

We follow standard debian stable installation procedure available at: http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/installmanual

Updating to Unstable (Sid)

We change our repositories fonts from etch to sid followed by:

# aptitude update && aptitude safe-upgrade

This page will be updated when new features works.

  5. @Jos: I get sound without doing nothing, but in order to use headphones I have to touch gnome control volume parameters.

    Anybody has this laptop let it works with 8 gb ram?
    BIOS see the full 8 gb ram, Linux only works with 4 gb ram (free -m).


  8. Sorry for the delay coming back to my own blog. I had that laptop for a year and a half only and never upgraded the memory. If BIOS is seeing the 8GB of RAM make sure you are using a 64bit version of your preferred distro.
